PHOENIX CONTACT's SUBCON product provides a means to make D-SUB cable assemblies without the hassle of soldering or crimping. The SUBCON product provides connection from the pins of a D-SUB connector to individual screw actuated terminal blocks all in a D-SUB clamshell housing. This means that the only tool required to configure a cable is a screwdriver.
