The Molex DisplayPort Interconnect System provides speeds up to 10.8 Gbps between devices and legacy connectors. DisplayPort Receptacles are fitted to the device with the Plug fitted to a cable assembly adapter with a HDMI or DVI-D female connector. The use of the DisplayPort Interconnect System gives high-definition digital video and audio plus plug-and-play capability in one cable thus reducing cost.
