Anywhere there is an antenna-like structure such as power cord or I/O cable, in the presence of a microprocessor, there is a need for RFI suppressors to control unwanted high frequency interference by allowing data signals to pass unimpeded, and absorbing the high frequency energy. The section below is an assortment of the most popular sizes in the most universally applicable broadband formula — effective up to 1 GHz.
28B0375-3 and 28B0562-2: Very small cylindrical suppressors for wire diameters below 0.25" (6.4 mm). 28B0625-0, 28B0736-0 and 28B1020-1: Sizes up to 1.0" (25.4 mm) I.D. for applications where there are large cable bundles or where great amounts of suppression are required. 28B1225-0: Multiple cable turns through the center yield greater suppression and flexibility to fine-tune a circuit. Up to 1.400" (35.6 mm) I.D.
